Beginning May 26th, the Township will be holding Committee of Adjustment and Public meetings in an online format. Residents will be able to livestream meetings using their computers, or access and participate in meetings directly either by computer or from their phones.
The May 26th meeting will begin at 6:00 pm with residents being able to watch live via the Townships Civic Web Portal or YouTube. Public meetings for Zoning amendments are scheduled for June 1st and 8th in advance of Councils regularly scheduled meetings.
Residents wishing to provide comments on any of the agenda items are encouraged to submit written correspondence by emailing Amanda Werner-Mackeler, Planning Technician at planningtechnician@townshipleeds.on.ca.
Any residents wishing to provide verbal comments at the Committee of Adjustment meeting can participate in the meeting via Zoom or by telephone.
To participate in the meeting by computer, smartphone or tablet, residents are required to visit the Civic Web site (Committee of Adjustment Meeting) page or Public Meeting Pages for June 1st or June 8th, on the Townships website and click on the appropriate meeting. Instructions will be posted regarding registration on each calendar event.
Residents without access to a computer, smartphone or tablet can participate in the meeting by telephone by calling 613-659-2415 ext. 203 and leaving a message with their name, phone number and the agenda item(s) they wish to speak to; staff will respond to their voicemail to provide them with the call-in number for the meeting. Participants must register by calling in no later than the day before the meeting.
